MY STORY: WHERE PSYCHOLOGY MEETS PERFORMANCE NUTRITION

WHY PERFORMANCE NUTRITION MATTERS

A smiling woman with long hair, wearing a white blazer over a black top, seated on a couch with a brick wall background.

I didn’t become a performance nutritionist by accident - I became one out of necessity. Years in the corporate world left me physically depleted and mentally foggy. Despite outward success, I was battling disordered eating, chronic fatigue, and a deep disconnect between how I trained and how I nourished myself.

What I didn’t realise then was that nutrition isn’t just about macros and meal prep - it’s about mindset. Emotional eating, decision fatigue, and the pressure to perform were quietly sabotaging my health. And no amount of kale or cardio could fix what was happening beneath the surface.

That’s when I tune into the psychology of food behaviour. I already had a background in psychology, and the next right step was to utilise my background to support people’s patterns behind our food choices, the stories we tell ourselves, and the social dynamics that shape our habits. I learned how to reframe restriction as self-respect, and how to fuel not just for performance - but for clarity, confidence, and longevity.

Now, I help high-performing men and women do the same. As a performance nutritionist with a background in psychology, I specialise in nutrition coaching for executive women, guiding them through emotional eating support, mindset and nutrition for burnout recovery, and sustainable strategies that feel intuitive - not overwhelming.
Because when you understand why you eat the way you do, how to change becomes much simpler.

If you’re ready to stop outsourcing your health to trends and start building a relationship with food that actually supports your goals - let’s talk. You can also explore my retreats, coaching programs, or dive into the blog for psychology-based nutrition strategies that meet you where you are.
