Why a Fitness & Nutrition Program works

Many of us who exercise do so with goals in mind that are not always clearly articulated.

Recently, I have had the honour of working with Agoga as the Resident Nutritionist and the go-to for all things nutrition in their upcoming 10 week Program. With clear goals and a set timeline, your desired fitness and nutrition outcomes become far more achievable and more importantly, sustainable.

Our age, general health, diet and our busy lives often influence the type of exercise we do. This is where setting specific outcome goals within a clear program become more important. You may find that daily 8km runs now need to be mixed up with more HIIT sessions (a combination of short bursts of intense exercise with periods of rest or lower-intensity exercise and typically mix aerobic and resistance training), or you may need to incorporate a couple of days of resistance training instead (the use of resistance to muscular contraction to build the strength, anaerobic endurance and size of skeletal muscles). Or if you are competing, you may find that your pre and post-training nutrition and your rest days are more important now than ever.

With a clear program, your fitness and nutrition is outlined and easier to follow, you can plan your week and you will see clearer results both physically and mentally.

Start your 2021 stronger, healthier and happier. Visit Agoga for your 10-week Program details.
